Super5 M Arctic White review, solid entry model fountain pen

Super5 medium white complete fountain pen

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Super5 medium white boxSuper5 is new to the fountain pen market. The funny thing about this relatively new fountain pen brand is the Super5 Medium is based on a age old fountain pen design, presented as new. The sigar is an old and well known shape, and Super5 didn’t change much to this standard shape with the Super5 Medium. The fountain pen comes in a plain black box with the logo well visible on the front.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Light, practical fountain pen

All parts of this foutain pen can be unscrewed, which is something I secretly like to do. The cap works with a practical click system which works surprisingly well. The fountain pen is made out of plastic and is very light, the choice of material isn’t uncommon with fountain pens in this price range. The details of this fountain pen are well thought off. There are no sharp corners or edges. The Super5 Medium is well in hand, both with and without the cap posted.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1604″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Finding the right balance

Because the weight of this fountain pen is mostly in the tip it’s better to write with the cap posted. The highest amount of effort is put in the nib and the nib holder, eventhough the cal and the barrel are great and of good quality, the nib and the holder are the highes quality parts. These parts are made out of metal and relatively heavy. As a fountain pen enthousiast you want a cheaper model to be optimized for great writing preformance, because that’s what these fountain pens are made for.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Old fountain pen design brought back to life

Super5 medium white nibBy taking lessons from the pas and using the sigar shape as a base, Super5 brought a fine fountain pen to the market. They used cheap materials for the shape and cap and higher quality materials for the nib and the holder to guaranty writing quality. For a fountain pen that’s just under 25 Euros it’s really good. It’s a great fountain pen for starters, and also nice to give as a gift or a promotional gift.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

The nib of the Super5 Medium

Of course a steel nib is quite sturdy, but this fountain pen is available with different nibs. It’s also available in different thickness. Therefor this fountain pen is also interesting for people who want to start with penmanship. The Super5 can be filled with normal cartridge fillings. It’s also possible to use a converter in it. With a sturdy clip it’s possible to carry this pen around in many possible ways.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
